It is very likely the Nari Nari people were completely wiped out by massacre, but their middens (burial sites) are still intact thanks to an Aboriginal family who live on Nari Nari land, passionate about protecting them and the farm land they lay on.
This is the story of how one family is repatriating hundreds of burial sites across the Hay Plains in south-west NSW.
