In this live stream video, I cover one of the most overlooked part of performing live, and that is the drum soundcheck. A Soundcheck can be boring and sometimes gruelling. But when you apply these soundcheck tips, this process can actually be quite enjoyable for yourself and most importantly, for the audio tech engineer behind the front of house mixing board.
We have Dustin Fisher as the audio tech engineer. Not only is he a pro audio tech, he is also a drummer. He offers some of his drum soundcheck tips for drummers as well. Insight from an actual pro audio tech who is also a drummer is rare.
