Описание: (I have been asked to increase the definition of my videos, but so far have not been able to, sorry.) Two different pieces of equipment are shown here. 1. An audio frequency/low frequency oscillator made by the British company Advance Instruments of Hainault, Essex, probably in the 1960s, and still in perfect working order. 2. A resistance bridge made probably in the 1930s or 1940s by Garrard of Swindon, Wiltshire. Garrard were better known for making (since the 1920s) spring-driven gramophone motors, sound boxes, and later electric pick-ups, record decks, auto-changers and high-end turntables such as the 301 and 401, these last-named are still eagerly sought today. This item, though well-used, is also in full working order & is demonstrated. Also shown, is the ease with which the bridge can measure small resistances of less than one Ohm, something that the ubiquitous and normally cheap & very efficient digital multi-meters of today can't do very well, if at all. A 0.25 Ohm shunt is made, so that a 1mA meter can read 1 Amp.
