During the time in the desert, I constantly checked the surf forecast and saw that there is swell coming for the next days so we rushed to the coast to catch some waves. This was the reason why we carried the surfboards around, the whole time. We touched water for the first time around Agadir and checked out the famous local waves Killer point, anchor point, and Boilers.
We had an awesome spot right at the beach to set up our surf camp, we had to clean it from litter but this is a general problem in Morocco. After a couple of days, we slowly went up the coast, to follow the swell. There are countless surf spots along the rough coastline unnamed waves to be discovered. But soon the waves disappeared as fast as they came… The last highlight was the longboard wave of Imsouane.
Sadly it was about time to head north to catch a ferry to Spain. We made a little detour through Marrakesh, we had to see it at least for a night. At the border I had to get back my drone that got confiscated as we entered the country, in the end, it was easier than is expected.
