The Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Retired Maj. Jessica Alupo, has called on graduates of St. Lawrence University to become innovators who use technology to address community challenges, rather than merely consuming digital tools.
Speaking at the university’s 16th graduation ceremony, Alupo emphasized the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in creating solutions across sectors such as agriculture, communication and service delivery, urging graduates to apply their academic knowledge responsibly for societal transformation.
