How to make Meatless Jamaican Veggie Stew Peas
This meatless delight is stock with protein and can be eaten with rice, quinoa, provisions, bread, roti or you can enjoy just like that. This dish can be personalised base on veggies that you love and enjoy the most.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cup of red kidney beans
1/2 butternut
-1 medium size carrot
1/2 of an onion
a handful of thyme
4 cloves of garlic
-1 tsp Mrs Dash
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp homemade green season
1 cup homemade coconut milk
1 Scotch bonnet pepper
1 stalk scallion
1/3 of a bell pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Pressure the peas and garlic.
2) Transfer the cooked peas to a pot and add the diced butternut and carrot and cook for 10-15 mins.
3) Add the chopped bell pepper, scallion, pepper, mrs dash, black pepper, coconut milk and boil for another 10-15 mins.
3) Served with your side dish.
