Kulindadromeus is one of the most important dinosaurs ever discovered. While this small dinosaur may seem unassuming at first, Kulindadromeus had feathers despite being an ornithischian rather than a theropod. These feathers came in three varieties, two similar to those of early theropods and one type unique to it. Kulindadromeus also had three types of scales on its body, some of which were very similar to those present in birds today.
