Mit „Je chante - Burghart Klaußner swingt Charles Trenet“, entführte er das Publikum in die Lebenswelt des Franzosen. Seit 2010 tourt er nun mit seiner Band durch verschiedene deutsche Städte. In seinem Programm „Zum Klaußner“ präsentiert er ein unterhaltsames Lebenspassepartout von Trenet, über Cole Porter, bis hin zu Tom Waits, die Kinks, Karl Valentin oder Johnny Cash.
