Описание: so i have a 5cm thyroid nodule that i've been avoiding, and hiding behind t-shirts and hoodies the past 5 years... secretly hoping it would vanish on its own—but reality finally kicked in, and i've accepted it's not going anywhere without intervention. now i'm waiting on biopsy results to determine the next step, which involves one of two procedures—both posing a risk to my vocal cord nerves. i'm optimistic that whatever the outcome, i'll either nurse my voice back to strength or discover new magic in however it evolves. but in the meantime, i'm realizing how often i've taken my voice for granted, rarely fully using it to its potential. so here's a song i wrote about something totally different, but i'm singing it dedicated to my voice tonight.
