After spending a much-needed relaxed day at Leh, the 10th day we headed towards Turtuk, the second last village of India at LOC of PoK. This time we had a company of one more rider who flew from Mumbai to Leh and rented a Royal Enfield bike from Leh and started the journey with us.
After a quick document verification at the check post at North Pullu we crossed the Mighty Khardung -La pass and climbed down to South Pullu for lunch. After a quick refreshment, we headed towards our final destination, Turtuk crossing Diskit & Hunder.
The sun was already set and it was dark when we reached Turtuk. we were tired and just wanted to reach the hotel and retire but the owner of the hotel denied the booking saying he doesn't operate online. however, after a lot of debate and requests, he helped us get tents nearby. rest is a history.
