BIO

Mason M. Darabi is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Venture Builder with Tandem/RTV, a CIO at NDAX.io, CFO at Levitee Labs and a Global Expert at Blockchain Founders Fund, with an educational background in Engineering and Management.

He is a blockchain enthusiast, an entrepreneurship fanatic seasoned with over 11 years of experience in Information Technology (Oracle Database and Linux) and Business Development in both Information Technology and Agriculture industries.

He has demonstrated a history of working in various accounting roles in Canadian Oil and Gas and Public Practice Accounting firms including MNP, Imperial Oil, RSM Canada and PwC for 5+ years and contributed to various Startup/Venture Capital endeavors in Norway, Middle East and across the globe. He has played key roles in various IT projects outside of Canada (ERP implementations and Data Center projects to name a few).

In his most recent corporate role, he successfully led the Ag Data corporate start-up, all the way from an idea to a thriving initiative, at the national level for MNP LLP (One of Canada’s top 5 Accounting and Advisory firms).

Mason’s unique work-experience and skillset have enabled him to bridge the gap between the technical and business/financial matters which are both key pillars of a success in any venture. He has tremendous passion in supporting the technology ecosystem and collaborating as a team player at Canadian Blockchain Consortium towards building a strong and vibrant blockchain community in Alberta and across Canada as an enabler of the prosperity and diversity of the Canadian economy.
