In this episode, they introduce two remarkable voices: Mukadder Alakuş and Fatih Alakuş, each of whom has authored a powerful book based on their lived experiences under a brutal regime.
Mukadder Alakuş writes about her life in prison, while Fatih Alakuş sheds light on the experiences of children forced to live in Turkish prisons alongside their mothers. Both authors will share insights from their books during the 7th year of the Global Dialogue for Justice, to be held July 5–15.
This episode also includes a powerful message from both scholars, reminding the global community of the dangerous complicity unfolding in many parts of the world—and warning that when societies remain silent in the face of brutality, oppression will eventually reach their own doorstep.
