A strip mining operation at Skeleton Coast is sweeping a section of beach for various minerals found there. The rocks are, of course, ground and sent through a sifter, where they are sorted for various minerals, metals, and most importantly, rough uncut diamonds! Diamonds also have industrial uses, of course, as cutting, grinding, and polishing tools. Here in Skeleton Coast, diamonds have left their mark, and they are found everywhere. The industry is fragmented, and there is no universal pricing for them. People pay lots of money for them because they want to. Here they are just rocks. Happy mining.
