Oggi sono partito da Roma 🏍 con la mia BMW R 1300 GS
direzione Norma, nel basso Lazio, vicino Latina.

Norma ospita uno dei decolli più famosi d’Italia 🇮🇹,
meta di moltissimi piloti italiani e stranieri che lo considerano uno dei punti più interessanti per il parapendio nel Centro Italia 🪂.

Mi aspettava il mio amico Umberto.
Doveva consegnarmi la nuova attrezzatura con cui affronterò la stagione 2026.

Ma arrivarci non è stato semplice.

🌧 Piogge continue da oltre un mese hanno reso l’asfalto insidioso.
🌬 Raffiche di vento forti e improvvise.
🚛 Tantissimi mezzi pesanti diretti verso Norma.

La strada è stretta.
I camion sono enormi.
Non puoi sbagliare la linea in curva. Mai.

È uno di quei percorsi dove devi essere lucido, preciso, presente.

Arrivato al decollo ho incontrato Umberto,
abbiamo sistemato e tarato la nuova attrezzatura di volo
e poi sono ripartito verso casa.

Strada e Cielo si incontrano ancora una volta.

Today I left Rome 🏍 on my BMW R 1300 GS
heading to Norma, in southern Lazio near Latina.

Norma is home to one of Italy’s most famous paragliding take-offs 🇮🇹,
frequented by many international pilots who consider it one of the most interesting flying spots in Central Italy 🪂.

My friend Umberto was waiting for me there.
He was delivering my new flight equipment for the 2026 season.

But getting there wasn’t easy.

🌧 Relentless rain for over a month made the road extremely slippery.
🌬 Strong crosswinds pushing constantly.
🚛 Heavy trucks and transport vehicles climbing toward Norma.

The road is narrow.
The trucks are massive.
You cannot miss your line in a corner. Not once.

It’s one of those rides where precision and focus are everything.

At take-off, we tuned and set up the new gear,
and then I headed back home.

Road and Sky meet once again.
