Veteran actor Satish Shah passed away on October 25 at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital at around 2:30 pm. The 74-year-old actor, loved for his roles in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and Main Hoon Na, had been battling kidney-related complications and had recently undergone a transplant.

His manager confirmed the news, adding that the funeral will take place on Sunday.
Over a career spanning more than four decades, Satish Shah became a household name with his memorable performances in both films and television.

He gained cult status for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and delivered iconic roles in Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Om Shanti Om, and many more.

On TV, his portrayal of Indravadan Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai remains one of Indian television’s most loved comic performances.
His passing marks the end of an era in Indian entertainment.
