On today's Monday's with the Archives, we're featuring two exquisitely detailed decanters! Pour us a glass!
This first decanter would have held Kentucky Straight Burbon Whiskey. In gold, you’ll see the text for the Regency Hyatt House. The bottle features various shades of blue and shimmering gold with wave-like textures. The piece of China dishware was created in 1971 by James B Beam Distilling Company.
The second bottle we’re highlighting is in the shape of a hotel and is in brown and tan hues. On the bottom, you’ll see the text 1918 The Broadmoor 1968. Notice the small detailing on each of the hotel’s windows! This bottle also would have held Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and was created in 1968 by James B Beam Distilling Company.
