In the episode we are discussing and conduct analysis of Shell and BP. The merits of both and why I am a share holder in both companies accepting the risk that comes with that right now. Both have been battered by the health crisis and oil price war between the US, Saudi and Russia. Shell has cut its dividend to a forward yield of 3.4% (still not bad) BP remains at double digits but most investors expect a cut in line with Shell.

If BP survived Deepwater Horizon it will survive this. Shell is usually the most committed to its dividend, having paid it since World War 2
