Trending Vegas: Strong Start Academy Elementary Opens for Registration
The city of Las Vegas has been approved to open a charter school in the valley and it's offering students the chance to become bilingual and biliterate!
The dual-language school is set to open in the fall of 2022 with kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade classes.
While the city of Las Vegas put in the application of the charter school, the charter itself will be run by a non-profit, with a governing board.
Executive Director and Principal Miriam Benitez has helped set up the dual-language school from the ground up and is excited to see the doors it opens up for students and the entire community.
