Today I am just outside Lisbon at Fonte De Telha, just 40 minutes from Lisbon by car. This beach is stunning and wild. Here you can surf, para-glide, wind-surf, kite-surf or more. These huge expanse of golden sands, nestled by cliffs is unique, traditional and untamed. The spot is ideal of van lifers but be careful of the police as from 2020 a new law prohibits vans and rvs parking next in beaches in Portugal, which sucks.

»»WHY VAN LIFE?««
From 2018 my life slowly started to implode. Although I looked like a was succeeding, I owned my own home and had a business I was very unhappy and unsettled. I following the "rules" of life but things were not flowing, life was a battle and I was losing. My work was just pure stress, my home was surrounded by toxic people and the friendships I had were based on sand. I became a miserable person and lost my passion for everything and then came along covid. Covid 19 has been a blessing in disguise for me, it has forced me to change my life, it has allowed me to start putting myself first and not working for other people. Covid destroyed by business, a business I hated and felt trapped by. Covid set me free to start a new cycle, to find my passion for life again and find a passion for Portugal.
