This film is a collaboration between the participants at five adult service centres on Cape Breton Island, sharing the importance of CHOICE in the lives of people with disabilities. In their own words, participants share what Self-Advocacy means to them: making your own decisions, speaking your mind, having the right to make your own choices, breaking down barriers to independence, and being proud of who you are. And having fun while doing it!
This project contributes to the wave of change in a world where fundamental rights are often not considered. We are helping to project the voices of people with disabilities! Discover the Power of Self-Advocacy.
