Описание: On April 20th, 2025, officers responded to a retail theft call at a Meijer store after Loss Prevention reported a woman exiting the store without paying for merchandise. According to staff, she spent over 30 minutes selecting items before leaving through the north entrance without stopping at a register. Loss Prevention stopped the woman outside and escorted her back to the office with the unpaid items. She admitted to taking the merchandise, and store staff declined payment at that point, requesting charges be pursued. Police documented 11 stolen items, including food, dog treats, a blanket, and personal care products, with a total value of $87.57. All items were recovered undamaged and returned to the store. Surveillance footage and receipts were collected as evidence. The woman was issued a notice to appear in court for Retail Theft and released at the scene.
