A few days ago, the African National Congress confirmed that it has reached the threshold for the national conference to go ahead as planned in December.
On Tuesday this week, it will become clearer whether former Health minister Zweli Mkhize will take on President Cyril Ramaphosa for the top post and who else is nominated for the Top Six.
The ANC expects 4,200 voting delegates to attend the conference from 16 to 20 December.
