What is the LGBT Equality Index?
The LGBT Equality Index measures whether the LGBT community has equal rights and equal outlook compared to straight and cisgender people. This index is divided into two main indicators, those being the Legal Index, (which is marked in the video using ⚖️), and Public Opinion, (which is marked in the video using 🗣️).

The Legal Index gives a score of 0 to 1 of the following factors: Legality of homosexual activity, Same-sex marriage, Censorship of LGBT issues, Right to change legal gender, Gender-affirming care, Legal recognition of non-binary gender, Protection against LGBT discrimination, Protection against LGBT employment discrimination, Protection against LGBT housing discrimination, Same-sex adoption, Outlawing of intersex infant surgery, Serving openly in military, Blood donations by MSM's, Outlawing of Conversion Therapy, and finally, Equal age of consent!

The Public Opinion is a little more arbitrary. It's calculated using various different surveys regarding LGBT. However, I just put in a number and called it a day lmao
