On the outskirts of Oslo (and visible even at night thanks to the lights) is the Holmenkollen Ski Museum & Tower. It's one thing to watch ski jumpers on TV... it's another thing entirely to stand at the top and see what they face.
In the base of the tower is the Ski Museum, which is chock full of artifacts and displays that chronicle the storied skiing past of Norway. Truly a fun day and something we would recommend visitors to Oslo check out.
