CHANA DAL WITH BOTTLE GOURD
ingredients:
Chana dal: 2 cups
Bottle gourd: 750g
Hot water: 1 litre
Vegetables oil: ¼ cup
Coriander seeds: ½ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Fenugreek seeds: ½ tsp
Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
Chopped ginger: 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic: 1 tbsp
Chopped green chilli: 1 tbsp
Curry leaves: 10-12
Chopped onions: 1 cup
Chopped tomatoes: 1½ cup
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Cumin powder: 1 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Curry powder: 1 tsp
Red chilli powder: ¼ tsp
Black pepper powder: ¼ tsp
Salt: 2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves: ½ cup
