Isingiro District is set to receive a significant budget boost after Speaker Annet Annita Among promised the district double funding allocation. Speaking at the launch of Rutoma Catholic Church, Among cited Isingiro's large size as the reason for the increased allocation, saying the district will now receive 2 billion shillings for road units, up from the standard 1 billion shillings allocated to other districts.
