In this video, I share a simple yet magical practice that I’ve been using for a couple of years and it has changed everything about how I make decisions as a musician, a business owner, and a person.

Instead of setting dozens of resolutions or goals every year, I choose one word a word that deeply resonates with who I want to become. That one word becomes my compass, my daily reminder of how I want to show up in life and in my work.

This is not just a mindset trick it’s a practice of alignment. When you consciously choose a word that defines your next chapter, every decision, every action, and every thought starts to reflect that choice.

As a musician, that means daring to perform pieces that challenge me, to share my art unapologetically, and to create from a place of freedom instead of fear.

As a business owner, that means saying yes to opportunities that scare me, investing in myself, and building something that aligns with who I’m becoming not who I used to be.

And as a human being, that means trusting my instincts, taking up space, and allowing myself to
live a life that feels authentic and exciting.

Every year, I sit down and ask three powerful questions
🎵 Who do I want to become as a musician
💼 Who do I want to become as a business owner
💫 Who do I want to become as a person

Then I let one word rise to the surface a word that resonates with the highest version of myself. It’s magical how that single word begins to influence everything. Suddenly, your goals make more sense. Your boundaries get clearer. Your focus sharpens.

This simple practice can change the way you live your year and your life. You don’t need a long list of resolutions. You need one intention, one energy, one word that anchors everything else.
