In this episode, our guest shares the project cargo achievement she is most proud of — loading the heaviest single piece ever shipped out of Mumbai port at that time: a 1,010-tonne reactor, accompanied by a second piece of 895 tonnes.

The reactor arrived at Mumbai port by barge from the shipper's works — a complex heavy lift operation that required one of the world's leading heavy lift carriers, whose self-geared vessels could lift the cargo using their own cranes. Securing a conventional floating crane was simply not an option for a lift of this scale.

What makes this shipment truly special? The planning began 6–9 months in advance. The execution was flawless. And her son — who had studied photography — was there to capture every moment of the loading.

As she calls it: "the jewel in my crown."

And yet — she has since done heavier. A 1,800-tonne shipment followed. Because in project cargo, the heavier the better. You always want more.
