I'm in love with COLUMBIA, TN

Описание: Columbia, TN, also known as “Muletown” and lovingly referred to as “the dimple of the universe," is the perfect southern small town. Located about one-hour south of Nashville, Columbia is part of Maury County (local’s pronounce MURRY”) and has a lot to offer.

Columbia was originally thought to become the capital of Tennessee, so it’s built with beautiful wide roads and a town square. The town is built alongside the Duck River, one of the most biologically diverse river’s in North America, and used for recreation (canoeing, tubing, kayaking) in the summers.

Affordability is a big draw to the area, as the cost of living in Columbia is lower than the national average and lower compared to other Tennessee cities. It has grown over the past 5 years with a growth rate of 12.5%, with businesses, investors, and residents flocking to the area.

The real estate has something for everyone— from lower cost homes in the 200s to larger homes on a lot of land. It’s growing Downtown and popular Arts District offer plenty of local restaurants and retail, with more being regularly added as the downtown grows and improves. You’ll love grabbing a coffee from Muletown Coffee and perusing the local antiques at Bleu 32 or the book selection over at Duck River Books.

Overall, Columbia features a lot of local events, parades, flea markets, and is a very vibrant & friendly community. There are plenty of beautiful parks & recreation such as Chickasaw Trace Park, Riverwalk park, and the newly updated Danahli Park. Many say Columbia is the “next Franklin,” Which means now is a great time to buy and invest in Columbia as the area continues to develop.
