Can y'all believe it? I've NEVER driven a Series? Believe it. Also: it didn't start out so well for me! This is my buddy's 1980 Land Rover Series III 109 ex-MOD with FFR (Fitted for Radio). It's LHD as it was sent overseas by the MOD (the British "Pentagon" basically). I've driven sticks for decades...but not like this! Ha. Also, enjoy the 1940s-design braking system.
It also happened to be on the 100th birthday of Land Rover engineering team leader Arthur Goddard. He basically created the Land Rover!
