M/S as the All Blacks run out onto the field. M/S Irish Captain J. C. Kelly shaking hands with Irish President Eamon de Valera. M/S crowds. M/S as M. Herewini kicks off for the All Blacks. L/S match in progress. M/S as the ball is kicked by English, it goes to D. Clarke who kicks it back up field. M/S as Irish player catches the ball but is tackled and brought down. M/S crowd. M/S scrum. Kelly gets the ball and passes to A. Duggan, who passes to J. Walsh. Walsh passes to J. Fortune who touches down for Ireland's try. M/S crowd cheering. M/S as Duggan takes the kick and the ball goes between the posts. M/S crowd cheering. M/S C. Meads with the ball, he passes to D. Graham then on to K. Tremain and C. E. Meads who is tackled. D. Young gets the ball and passes to A. Stewart who is tackled by Duggan. Players fight and scramble for the ball and Irish player can be seen punching. M/S crowd. M/S S. T. Meads with the ball. He passes to Tremain who goes over the line and touches down.
M/S's crowd at half time. Various shots of match in progress. The ball comes out to Herewini who tries to drop the goal but the ball goes wide. C/U crowd. M/S as Irish player is tackled but manages a pass to Duggan who runs on with the ball. M/S crowd. M/S Clarke taking penalty ball, it goes between posts. M/S's crowd. L/S as they run onto pitch at end of game.
