The three earliest releases of this reggae classic are all different, so this video has been made to help you identify which one you prefer.
The first version on the full green label starts out more dubwise, with the rhythm guitar being pulled in and out of the mix. The Wackies version has the rhythm guitar all through, more echo on Roy's voice, and very typical non-Jamaican echo on the version side. The third issue on the half-white label has an overdubbed rhythm guitar, and also uses the horns (from the original Morwells rhythm track) in the mix on the dub, whereas you can only hear them as bleed-through on the other five sides.
