How to make Pork Katsudon recipe that is Pinoy or Filipino style. Pork Katsudon is a Japanese dish but on this recipe we will use ingredients that is easily available to Filipinos. Mirin is important to katsudon as it brings unique flavor to this recipe. In case you do not want pork you can also use chicken, all the other ingredients are the same.
Pork tonkatsu Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour
Bread Crumbs
4 Pieces Porkchop
Garlic Granulated
Salt
Black pepper
Eggs
Katsudon Sauce:
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Sachet Kikkoman (Soy sauce)
2 Cups Water
20 ml Mirin
Onion Leeks
