“Pinedale, Wyoming Adventure | ”Hiking Sacred Rim Trail & Exploring Museum of the Mountain Men"

Описание: Join us as we explore the beautiful outdoors and history of Pinedale, Wyoming! This week we’re hiking the Sacred Rim Trail and visiting the Museum of the Mountain Men.

The Sacred Rim Trail is a moderately challenging 3.5-mile round trip hike with 610 ft of elevation gain, offering stunning views of the Bridger-Teton Mountains and Fremont Lake. Along the way, we crossed streams, navigated tree obstacles, and enjoyed peaceful meadows – all while avoiding the busy trails.

After our hike, we visited the Museum of the Mountain Men in Pinedale, a fascinating museum showcasing the history of fur trappers, mountain men, and Native American artifacts from the 1820s-1840s. The museum features historic tools, pelts, firearms, and a hands-on kids’ area, making it a perfect stop for families or history enthusiasts.

We also stopped by Trappers Point Wildlife Crossing for panoramic views of the river valleys and to learn more about the mountain men’s trapping routes.
