14 year old Parker lives with his grandma Sarah after his parents died. He wants to do well in school, but he finds himself struggling. One day after class, his science teacher Mr. Turner pulls him aside and offers him extra credit. While talking about the assignments, Mr. Turner accidentally exposes that he had built a time machine. The next day, he gets arrested after one of his students caught him on video talking about the highly illegal energy source that he uses for his time machine. Parker tells his grandma how they need to go back in time, but she doesn't believe that time travel exists. It's up to Parker to travel back in time to save Mr. Turner, but things don't go as planned.
