मतदाता सूची का विशेष पुनरीक्षण घुसपैठियों के वोट पर टिकी पार्टियों के लिए बड़ी समस्या बन गया है। इन पार्टियों और उसके नेताओं को समझ में नहीं आ रहा है कि वे प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और भाजपा से कैसे लड़ें । उनके पास ऐसा कोई मुद्दा नहीं है जिसे हथियार बनाकर सरकार को घेर सकें। विपक्षी दलों की हताशा हर चुनाव नतीजे के बाद बढ़ती जा कही है। उसे एसआईआर डूबते को तिनके का सहारा जैसा दिख कहा है। पर बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव के नतीजे ने दिखाया कि इस मुद्दे को उठाना समय की बर्बादी के अलावा और कुछ नहीं । इसके बावजूद नेता और पार्टियां इस सचाई को स्वीकार करने को तैयार नहीं हैं। अगले साल पाँच राज्यों में विधानसभा चुनाव होने वाले हैं।
