Описание: So why would a bodyboarder visit California?

This is Bodyboard-Holidays third trip to California and we were stoked to get back to California. This time we wanted to answer the question – why would a bodyboarder want to visit? Here are a few of the reasons why;

The climate. In November when we visit we could rely on ‘spring like temperatures’ every day. For our early surf sessions you’d wear a 3/2mm full wetsuit but when the sun was high you could wear less in the water if you wanted too. It was hot enough to bask in the sun most days on land.

The waves. For any bodyboarder that has watched a clip of a mad Californian shorebreak on Youtube you’ll know that the place has waves that are built for bodyboarding. If you know where to look they are there and you will love them.

Other things to do. It could be the place in the world with the most things to do out of the water. From Disneyworld, to Hollywood, to Venice beach, to national parks, to micro brewery tours to the most epic bodyboard and surf shops on the planet. When the wind goes onshore in the afternoon you cannot get bored!

The people. It’s a diverse place with people from lots of different backgrounds. In our experience they all shared the same cheery outlook which probably comes as a result of living some where that is sunny every day!

We love the place and can’t wait to go back. Those beach break barrels are hard to beat!
