The government will announce tomorrow whether the UPSR and PT3 examinations will be reinstated, at the launch of the National Education Development Plan 2026–2035.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the decision aims to strengthen education quality, taking into account students' needs and the potential for a more holistic assessment system.
Fadhlina added that the decade-long plan was intended to close gaps between schools and students, ensuring equal access to education.
Two days ago, Umno called for the reintroduction of PT3 and UPSR during its general assembly.
