Part of any restoration is cleanup. After 75 years of dirt and grime, grease and oil, rusty parts can be a challenge. And I don’t like to do any project that I don’t take everything to bare metal and bring it back up with modern paint technology. I recently procured a 1500-Watt laser cleaner and this has been somewhat revolutionary to the clean-up process. I walk through some examples of how this technology works on cast iron, sheet metal, and steel parts including some engine block components. It is very impressive. Most of these chapters are pretty much real time so you can see more or less total time to clean.
