In this video, we take you through a full step-by-step deck replacement on a 10m Humber Quinquari boat . Over time, the glue layers in the ply had broken down, leading to widespread rot — a common issue on older boats.
We removed and replaced the forward two-thirds of the deck, installing 1-inch thick marine plywood, fully glassed in with fiberglass and resin to restore strength and longevity. The deck was then finished with a gelcoat surface, returning it to a clean, durable, factory-style finish.
