Started off the day at Lake Hopatcong where the STH-10A failed on me for its 11 am test. I figured if that didn't test, the Sentry M-10 wouldn't either at 12 so I cut my losses and just went to Netcong instead. Glad I did because I later found out Hopatcong does not run its previous test schedule anymore. Anyway, this STL-10A did not disappoint and it sounded right on time pretty much to the second, which is always nice. It was pretty loud and it will rattle your chest. I was surprised at how much the leaves on the trees blew around when it was activated. Good reminder to how much air a mechanical siren will actually move. Siren tests weekdays and saturdays at 12 noon.
