A revised version of my madly in-depth preparation to reading the first volume in Walter Scott's Waverley novels. This is the first book, Waverley published 1814, a historical novel set in Scotland.
This video series is a journal of my first readthrough, chapter by chapter. These videos might be of most interest to someone who is reading it and is interested in how someone else found it.
Content: Why I'm reading Waverley in the first place. Introducing the particularly edition that I'll be reading. A brief look at the Waverley novels.
This video series is a sort of training exercise for me. I'm practising recording, editing .. all the basics. Sometimes I don't get them right. These are a bit amateur but I'm improving all the time.
