An Indian Army soldier, Havildar Gajendra Singh of the Special Forces, was martyred during a counter-terrorism operation in the Singpura area of Kishtwar under Operation Trashi-I on the night of 19 January 2026. The GOC White Knight Corps and all ranks paid solemn tribute to the fallen soldier, honouring his courage, valour and devotion to duty. In a message, the White Knight Corps expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of profound grief.
