Pelin Tan talks about how she focuses on socially engaged architecture. Her interest is in the scale and meaning of infrastructure. Furthermore she sees a process of a fluid combination between rural and urban areas. Pelin is a researcher in sociology, urbanism and architecture. Her practice is about research-based artistic and architectural pedagogy, territorial conflict, commonning practices and urban justice. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Architecture and Planning, ACT Program, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge.
