This be a rough approximation o' thar fighting techniques pirates would have used while out swashbuckling and/or buccaneering, between drinking grog and getting scurvy. The martial arts of the Pirate Age be part of a broader martial tradition of the British Isles and thar distinction between pirate weapons and techniques, and those used by thar rest o' society is rather arrgh-bitrary.
