For their spring dance showcase 2018, the City Academy Commercial Dance Company explored the topic of ‘Identity’. Their piece ‘Breaking the Silence’ takes you through a journey, looking at the constraints placed upon our identities by today’s society and the importance of breaking free and speaking out. Through props and clever and dynamic choreography, you get pulled into the story from start through to the end.
