She talked about her passion for the sport and why this moment is so important to her.

"I picked tennis because I wanted to do something kind of different. My grandfather is one of my favorite people to tell him I love tennis and it's one of the number-one German sports around," Eidschun said.

She is preparing for the competition both on and off the court and is eager to represent the Garden State in this year's Games.

"I feel pretty confident I feel like this is it. I have a 100% that I will get the gold medal and show everyone at my job how I did," Eidschun boasted.
