This team features Electric Terrain Pincurchin, a Baton Passing Drifblim, and a Power Trip Sweeping Cacturne! These unorthodox Pokemon are capable of catching unprepared teams off guard and sweeping through them with ease. The goal is to set up Electric Terrain with Pincurchin, then go into Drifblim to consume its Electric Seed and double its speed with Unburden. After that, Drfiblim boosts its evasion with Double Team, then Baton Passes those boosts to Cacturne. Once in, Cacturne has an extremely high chance of dodging all of its opponent's moves. Power Trip should then finish the job after a Swords Dance, Trailblaze or two.

The team also features the power of Iron Thorns, one of the lesser-used Paradox Pokemon in Series 2. Iron Thorns is capable of destroying teams with its Terrain boosted Wild Charge, or Loaded Dice boosted Rock Blast or Pin Missile. Finally, Gholdengo and Garganacl round out the team, each handling some of the team's bigger threats.
