I was awakened this morning by the excitement just outside my window—turns out the Rock'n Roll San Diego Marathon was underway! Held on June 1, 2025, this iconic event drew over 30,000 runners and is part of the larger Rock'n Roll Running Series.The full 42.2 km (26.2 miles) course winds through eight vibrant San Diego neighborhoods, beginning at Balboa Park and finishing in downtown San Diego, with stunning views along the coastline.My street was closed for the marathon, and the lively commotion inspired me to grab my camera and share this spontaneous moment.
Funny thing—I didn’t even notice the drone at the end of the clip until I was editing and prepping it for upload.
