Bob in a moment of upbeat energy, decided to enter us as the "Caithness Cub Club" in the Tain Vintage, Historic and Classic Car and Motorcycle Rally Club section. The castle bell was rung and a rag tag assortment of, something rhyming with knights, assembled at the drawbridge, early doors on the morning of the event. The weather wasn't quite as kind as it could have been but it was a great day out, spent with good mates and a lot of interesting sights to rest the peepers on. The rally is well worth a visit with lots to see and a return of the CCC to it may be on the cards... we never did find out who won the "Club" category so perhaps there is a huge trophy proudly engraved with Caithness Cub Club upon it? Or perhaps not.
British Pathe resemblances from the 40s and 50s are hugely meant and I took particular joy in making a new Flying Bill Pathe styled logo to go along with the thumbnail.
